About Pre-Pour

First look at what’s about to pour.

Pre-Pour tracks newly approved alcohol labels from the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) Public COLA Registry — the federal certificates of label approval brands need before bottling. It covers spirits (whiskey, tequila & agave, and other spirits) and beer. Wine is not included.

Every label page links to the official TTB record. The registry is a public record published by the TTB; Pre-Pour is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the TTB or any brand shown.

Approval is not a release date. A label approval means a brand may bottle with that label — not that a product is shipping, in stores, or even coming. Brands re-file labels for new sizes, batches and proofs, and many approved labels never reach shelves. This site does not list prices, availability or where to buy.

Registry data can lag by days (images typically appear about 48 hours after approval) and can contain errors; always confirm on the official TTB record. Label artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
